YEORGIOS [ GEORGE ] ANTHONY DIAMANTOPOULOS, PASSED INTO ETERNAL LIFE ON MAY 11, 2019, @ ABOUT 3.00 A.M. while recovering from a lung infection at the Western General Hospital in Toronto. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mrs. Lygeri Diamantopoulos, his beloved daughter, Mrs. Panagiota [ Patricia ] Tsagaris, & her husband & Son in Law Mr. Valsamis [ Makis ] Tsagaris, his grand children Mr. Stratos Tsagaris, his wife Mrs. Poppi Tsagaris & great grand children Joseph Michael & Loukas, Ms. Irene Tsagaris & her husband Steven : his Son Mr. Anthony George Diamantopoulos, and his wife Mrs. Anna Paula Diamantopoulos, and his grand children Lygeri Athena Diamantopoulos & her husband Raz, Mariah Alexandra Diamantopoulos, & Penelope Artemis Diamantopoulos : his beloved brother Mr. Chris Diamantopoulos and his children John Diamantopoulos & his family, and Panagiota [ Penny ] Diamantopoulos : his beloved brother Mr. Nikolaos Diamantopoulos and his family : his beloved sister in law Mrs. Poppi Diamantopoulos and her sons and their children, his beloved nieces Eleni [ Helen ] Diamantopoulos & Antonia [ Nitsa ] Diamantopoulos, and his beloved nieces and nephews from his extended family and their sons & daughters.

Mr. George Diamantopoulos, was born in Agriakona, Arkadia, Greece, and migrated to Toronto, Canada, in the early 60s where he joined his brothers, Peter, Chris, and Anthony, in the operation of ASTORIA BAKERY & RESTAURANT as the Chief Baker, located in the Bloor West location, and expanded it throughout the city of Toronto with more locations.

Prior to migrating to Canada, he served as President of the town council @ Agriakona town, and helped establish related infrastructure works, that continue to help make life better for all town folk.

He lived his life with high morals and principles, never complained about anything, never complained that he was tired of working and creating, never complained that he anything was hurting him, and was always ready to do more, notwithstanding working endless 12+ hour days.

He strived for, cared, and supported his beloved family, and never complained about anything notwithstanding the difficulties he faced in establishing his young family in his "new country", "Canada".

No matter how many hours he worked, no matter how tired he was - which he never showed - he always had a smile, and kind words to share.

Everytime he visited Mother Ellas, and his birthplace of Agriakona, Arkadias, and he visited often, he would be full of emotion like a young child.

Dad, we wish you a great trip into Eternal Enlightenment, you are now in a much better place, and even though we miss your physical presence, your spirit and eternal "PNEUMA" lives on - truth is, you will be waiting for all of us to join you each one of us at some different point in the future - and thus we will meet up again. One thing is certain, every time you are called upon, your presence is felt.

You will be rembered & honoured eternally with much love and great respect.
