I remember Witold as my "favorite wujek" from the time when he lived in Warsaw and he and his wife belonged to the Ochota congregation. Although it was so long ago, that's how I knew him and remembered him - cheerful, always had a smile glued to his face, warm and cordial. When you felt someone's hand on your shoulder, you didn't have to guess - it was known that it was wujek Witek sneaking up from behind and as soon as you turned around you saw that genuine wide smile. I remember how he cared for young people like me in the congregation and how often he encouraged us. It was because of his encouragement that I entered the Theocratic Ministry School and became an publisher.

I am so sorry for your loss and I am deeply convinced that he will encourage us, cheer us up and entertain us with his unforgettable smile for all eternity.

Dear Andrew, Wendy and family, please accept our condolences. We are thinking of you at this sad time.
What a beautiful talk and family photos. Hearing his life story of service to Jeh encourages me to continue in that same course. No doubt Jeh looks forward to seeing his friend again in the new world. Keeping you in my prayers in your time of loss.

Obviously he was known as a loving man and Jehovah remembers him the same way. What loving care you all gave him! No doubt he will be eternally grateful to you all for the love he was shown as he aged. I am looking forward to hearing more stories from him in the new world about his life. I always enjoyed his company. He always brought so much laughter and joy to a room!

Our love and condolences to all of his family,

Josh and Sully Minogue

I never met Witold but spending time with his family tells me about the kind of spiritual person he was, I look forward to meeting him in the new world.  Until then my prayers and thoughts are with the Wroblewski and Witherell family.

He and I spoke a different language but despite that he was my friend and his smile would warm any room. Till the new system my friend.

Dear Urszula and family, my sincere condolences to you all. I wish I could have gotten to know your father. He must have been an exceptional parent; look at his family! Warm Christian love, and know that I pray for you all often.

Sorry to hear of his passing Urszula.  Was a very faithful brother to the end and Jehovah loved him very much as shown through the care of his family.  What a wonderful future awaits him!

What a kind and bright person Witold was! I loved hearing his stories, jokes, and prayers. Despite the difference in language, his infectious smile and genuine interest in others always came through. I’ll never forget as a little girl he shared some radishes with me at the table, showing me how to cut out the bitter parts and put just the right amount of salt on them for the best flavor. Looking forward to seeing him again in full health and once again hear him sing some Polish tunes! Sending love to the whole family!
Do zobaczenia w Nowym Świecie

Although I never had the chance to meet him,  I look forward to doing so in the future under more favorable circumstances. He sounds like a wonderful person. My sincerest condolences to every member of the family. May the love of the brotherhood and the comfort from Jehovah help to ease the loss.

Christian love, Sister Marie C.

Witold was such a generous, fun, and hospitable person. I’ll never forget the first time I visited his home. He immediately started offering me food and drink, including “spicy water”. We may not have been able to fully communicate, but our love of Jehovah and appreciation for a good meal was universal. Looking forward to seeing him again!

Our deepest condolences. We love you all very much.

Witold was such  a wonderful man. There’s an old folk song that reminds me of Witold, ‘Keep on the sunny side of Life’,  From the moment I would see him at each of our visits,  they all started with a big HEY!, a Bright Smile and then, not a hand shake, but a big Bear Hug, with an occasional kiss on the cheek. I just loved that man! It was his love for God and his family, that made him the infectious personality he was. He loved his two sons and daughter very much, he’d give them the world  if he could. Even our language barrier did not hinder his love for people. How many jokes and stories he would tell me that I had no idea what they meant, but the way he’d tell them,  we’d burst into laugher, I can’t wait until we see him again, what parties we will have! It’ll be my turn to  give him the Bear hug and kiss on the cheek!

I had a story that impressed me of the type of man he was:

We spent a week at a lake house with Witold and his family. Early one morning about 6 or 6:30am, I had my coffee,  look out at the beautiful view I noticed Witold and Helena were outside on the deck, I saw them with their heads bowed it appeared to be in prayer, holding hands their heads leaning into each other. They had just finished reading the daily text together, a scripture from the Bible. After their prayer they sweetly kissed and said  something  to each other. I quietly slipped away. I never told them this, but that moment touch me, he was a spiritual man, his love for his wife was beautiful. I could tell this was a regular routine for them. It inspired me to be a better man. Love you all!

Though many things changed for Witold over the years, the most important ones never did: His love for Jehovah never wavered. (You could sense it in his heartfelt prayers at dinner.) His love for his family was just as strong. (From building a playhouse for his granddaughters to the way his eyes would light up when they entered the room, you could feel his deep love). And his zest for life still sparkled. (I will always remember our last visit when he broke out in song, then joined us in dancing, all with his sweet smile shining through!)

We can’t wait for the great party we will have when Witold (and Helena!) return, and we get to sing and dance…and drink vodka…together again!

Our Dziadek lived such a happy and rich life serving Jehovah. We'll be welcoming him back to perfect life soon!
