I love dolphins my whole life I almost lost my leg when I was 6 years old I saw both of her movies it was amazing my heart went out to her. I will always miss her.

I came here because of the movie dolphin tale, I can't believed she's passed I loved her story and those people who help her. Thank you for inspirational story and memories with winter. I'm from Philippines ♡

When my son make a wish was to see winter she was so sweet a genital to him and seeing her made him think he can do all things and that if she can do it he can

I had the honor of working with Winter when I was on the Stranding team the day we found her to working with her in our Marine Mammal Department as a Volunteer.

I got to spend each day, hours at a time helping her swim, learn to drink from her bottle, and watching her play. I was with her the day the vertabrae started falling off of her tail. That was heartbreaking. I thought for sure we were going to have to put her down. Thankfully, Hangar contacted us about creating a tail for her and the rest is history. We were blessed to have 16 more years with her.

I watched her develop into a beautiful, intelligent, chirpy, playful, and gentle dolphin who helped each person learn the meaning of perserverence, strength, and love.

We may have saved Winter, but she wound up saving the world with her story and inspiration. I will always cherish the time and memories I had with her albeit, I wish it was longer and that she was still here.

I am still sad and miss her terribly, but I'm at ease knowing her legacy lives on and that she is still continuing to share her message of never give up. She fought with every ounce of her being right up until the end. She would want every one of us to do the same and remember the happier times. And now, she is whole again and swimming free with Panama. Love lives on and she will live on forever in my heart. Until we meet again my special friend. Thank you for teaching all of us so much and for making a difference in each of our lives.

When I think of Winter, the lessons I learned from her remain strong: have courage, be kind, be compassionate, and take care of  each other, whether it be humans or animals. Winter thrived despite the challenges she faced because of the care and love she received from her caregivers and impacted the lives of so many. She showed us all that we can succeed even when faced with challenges that may seem insurmountable. 

I was so excited to see dolphin tale and see winter swimming but once I heard that she passed away i was-i changed a lot i used to wear green and blue and purple and pink but now i wear black and white and grey and really dark blue and green

I loved Winter for as long as I can remember, the night I found out she was gone, I was crying, and I cried all day the next day, I miss her so much, I only got to meet her one time, she showed me love, courage, and inspiration, I will miss her so very much, I pray to her every night, and I am happy that Winter has Panama now.   💔💔😥😥🐬🐬

 Winter taught us courage, love, trust in friendship and science. Winter inspired us to overcome challenges in life, and I have been sharing her story with my students since I met her. C.S., Brazil.

I first meet Winter on vacation to the home of Winter. I followed the stories of Winter, saw the movie. The one thing that inspired me most was how Winter would never give up on the hundreds of people that tried to help Winter to fix the tail Winter lost. I did not lose a tail, but I lose a leg. Winter showed me never to never give up either, that one day I will walk again, as Winter learned to use the new tail, how Winter adapted to the new tail as I learned to adapt to my new leg. Winter gave me a very valuable lesson I will always remember. I can't thank Winter enough for that Lesson of life..

I was sad when I heard the news of Winter's passing. i never got to meet her i suffer from scoliosis like her i had to get major surgery for it my curve was 90% we tried a brace but it didnt work i had to learn how to walk right again and my grandpa died while  i was in the hospital winter inspired me i wanna work at  CMA someday and be a animal care specialist my christmas wish is to got to CMA and meet all dolphin but my family cant ufford it i want to go with my mom and my 4 siblings to go pay our respects i watch both movies and watch every youtube video winter is the only reason i stayed strong wish will always be in our hearts

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Winter. I went 3 times to the Clearwater aquarium and bought many souvenirs with Winter's name on them! I only had the pleasure of seeing her once as everyone came there for her!
She was SO beautiful, graceful and brave. I will never forget her!She was too young to die...

My condolences to Winter's family. My name is Laine and I was lucky enough to meet Winter twice. The first time I met her was exactly after the first movie came out. Before I went I always watch the live cams just to watch Winter.  When I saw her in real life I was star struck by her and spent most of the time just watching her. The second time I went to see her was actually after the second movie came out. I was so happy that the place was bigger. My mother knew how much I love Winter bought vip tickets where I for the first and unfortunately the last time I got to meet Winter one on one. To this day I will say that was the best moment of my life. Winter and you guys the Clearwater Marine Aquarium are the reason why I am in college to chase my dream of working with dolphins. I was 8 years old with a speech impediment and I told my mother clear as day that I wanted to be a marinebiologist when I grew up and I have stuck to that dream for 19 years. Winter's passing hit me hard. She will forever be my inspiration for me to keep going in college when I'm struggling. Just thank you so much for giving her the best life possible and sharing her story to the world. She will forever keep inspiring little kids like I was to think of maybe becoming a person who wants to help.
