Winter Showed Me Different Is A Good Thing. She Taught Me That It She Can Do It Then I Can Do It Too

Hello,

  • May I request if it is possible, can the spreading Winter's ashes be telecast on FB or the CMA website? I understand if you wish for parts of it to be private as you cared for her so much. I believe many feel like she was family too, to all of us. I appreciate the love you showed her over the years. Thank you for all that you do.  Christina Quatrano.

In June, 2021, our granddaughter, Jada visited your beautiful aquarium. We instantly fell in love with Winter and Hope. Jada did a cartwheel and they both followed her. Our sincere condolences go out to Winter's family at CMA. We can't imagine the hurt you must all feel. Winter is watching over all of you. What an awesome animal. God bless you all. We contributed to you in the Fall. Your establishment along with St. Jude's Children's Hospital are the two charities which we are going to contribute to yearly. Our hearts hurt. We are so happy we were able to visit the aquarium last Summer. Love, Cindy and Larry Wassum and Jada Knoble.

I remember the first time I watched the Dolphin Tale movies, I was so inspired by winter’s story  . Christmas of 2016 I went to CMA for the first time. I was so excited to see winter and hope. I never got to meet them personally but I did see them. I don’t have a disability but they inspired me so much to never give up. I was devastated to hear about winter‘s passing but I know she was in a better place. Ever since I saw the dolphin tale movies my dream job has been to go down to CMA and work there. So all of staff and volunteers I am sorry about your loss and we will miss winter terribly, but I want you to know she’s in a better place.  winter your story will live on sweet girl.
I have wanted to visit winter in Clearwater since I first saw the movie. Have travelled to Florida many times but never got the chance. However I am currently in Sarasota so my family and I made the2 hour journey to see Winter. Unfortunately we were too late as she died in November. Was so sorry to hear. We still enjoyed our trip to the Aquarium. It was great to see the wonderful work that is done there. Winter will always live on jn our hearts and memories. 💗💗💗

I saw the movie today. It made me sad. I feel sorry that winter died. The movie was great though. I'll take care of animals with all of my heart. From Ceren, age 8

The way I first meet Winter was in Dolphin Tale. Even though that was a movie, that was how I learned about winter. Ever year for the informational writing in elementary school, I wrote about Dolphins and wrote 2-3 paragraphs only about winter. I myself have dealt with problems like Broken limbs. Winter inspired my to keep going even though I might be hurt at the time. 3 years ago, I was able to visit Winter. She was amazing and I will always remember her. I hope everyone at CMA and everywhere else is doing at least ok. It might be hard, but I believe that Winter loved her care takers and everyone who visited her and the people that she inspired. Never forget Winter.

Winter inspired my son to wear his glasses the glasses he is supposed to wear them because he seen her wearing her tail. He has autism. Like Winter I have scoliosis. So she inspired me to work the pain. My family was lucky enough to come visit CMA and all the animals several times. We even got to see Winter and Panama playing together just a few months before Panama passed.
