This loss is so sad. I have just watched the video of her being returned back home. Although it has been months I still mourn this loss. Thank you everyone at CMA for helping her. Her legacy is sure to continue, she could never be forgotten. Rest In Peace Winter, I know she is swimming free with Panama right now.

In 2016 I brought my family to CMA to see Winter I’m so glad we didn’t put the trip off so we could hear her tweety call in person, a most precious moment I will cherish. Love her forever,  Noël, Emma and Shelby.

I really like Winter the dolphin and I really wanted to meet her someday. When I found out she had passed I cried for a really long time.

2022
Art by me :D Winter has been my inspiration since I was little, although I don’t lack a limb. When I was young, I fought disease (not sharing the specifics for personal reasons) and was very close to giving up. Winter gave me the strength to pull through, and I owe her everything for that. It had been my dream since then to meet her in person, but unfortunately I never got the chance. But, she is with all of us in spirit. I find peace in that fact. Swim free, sweet girl.

I watch both dolphin tale movie and winter was my faviorte dolphin along with hope and winter inspired me to go swimming with the dolphin in march but I will always miss you winter  you are love by every one and you are miss by everyone and in my art class I drawing a dolphin to remind me of winter

Winter the Dolphin. I never met you in real life, but you truly inspired me. You taught me to push past the impossible barriers. You inspired me to become a marine biologist and my mission was to meet you someday. I can no longer fulfill this mission though. All the CMA staff have my condolences and I truly do wish them well and thank them for doing their best for Winter during her final hours. I will miss you and it feels like the loss of family. You now swim on in the Gulf of Mexico and your legacy carries on at CMA. I am dedicated to making sure the world never forgets the wonderful CMA staff and Winter herself. Swim free.
