We were heart broken when we heard the news of Winter's passing. We first met winter in April 2017 and we were absolutely amazed watching her which brought a tear to our eyes.

We will always hold on and remember those memories, love you and miss you so much winter, all our love and more

We met winter in 2019 and she was so playful and we enjoyed learning about her tail and was very impressed with the facility for her. We started donating to her that day we visited. We have her movie and cherish that along with our memory of seeing her in person from North Dakota. Many blessings to the staff who have been a part of winters life at Clearwater an we will continue to be supportive to the facility.

My husband and I bought our granddaughter to see Winter before her prosthetic tail. She got her picture taken with Winter she loves dolphins we came back several times after the movies. Winter was very special and taught people how to care  and treat others that have prosthetic limbs. She will be greatly missed.

I fell in love with Winter after seeing her first 2 movies. That is when I started following her. I live in Oregon and my son lives in Vermont, and I made him promise me when I come to see him (which I did last August 2021) that we all go to the Florida Keys, which we did, and go see Winter! It was wonderful and I was thrilled, so was my son and his girlfriend! So that was one bucket list things I got to mark off! So sad when she died! But thanks to you, she was saved a nd loved, and had a great life right up to her end!
Hi!
I meet Winter not in person (i WOULD love it) but vía movie about her life, HOW she was rescued and rehabilitated and HOW you PEOPLE from CMA fight for life. And Winter inspired the whole world with her JOY, desire TO live and spread POSITIVE energy. We are crying for LOSING fisically but she is still now and forever with us. Love you, Winter !
You will be missed. I surely hope you love your new home.

Although I never met Winter at the CMA she held a special place in my heart and my heart goes to all the staff at CMA and all who loved her.  I taught Marine Biology for many years in California. I would show the documentary "Winter: A Dolphin that Could" and then the movie "Dolphin Tale" every semester. One year my students were so inspired they raised money to adopt Winter from the program at the aquarium.  Every semester for years my students loved learning about Winter and her story - she affected them in such a positive way. We would all have tears in  our eyes after watching these films. I regret that I never made it out to Florida to meet her in person. She was so very special to me and my students here in California. We love you Winter! You will always be in our hearts...
