Happy Birthday sweet girl! The big 17 woohoo! I miss you so much and I hope you and Panama are having fun swimming in the endless blue! I love you Winter and miss you so much! I loved your sweet smile and how you played with your favorite toy. Watching you on the webcams was a major blessing and you helped me overcome any obsticles. All I had to do was think "If Winter can do it I can do it." I miss your sweet face and bright personality but I hold all these memories of you in a plushie I got for christmas last year. Everytime I give it a hug I imagine that I'm giving you a hug. Love you sweet girl, rest in peace.

My parents came for a visit and my mom wanted to meet Winter. The trainer let my mom hold her tail. The smile on my moms face when she got to do that was so amazing. During the memorial after Winter passed I saw the tail and it was so hard because I had lost my mom by this time. It just made me happy to know my mom got to do that before she passed. I miss Winter and my mom so much. Happy Birthday sweet Winter and thank you for what you did for my mom and everyone.

I met Winter years ago after watching the Dolphin Tale movie, and feeling so touched by her and her fight to make it, despite her being different. I came to Clearwater to see her and so glad I did. I was in a terrible car accident years ago, and I almost had to have my leg amputated...it was so hard to learn to walk again and watching Winter really helped me not only strive to keep going, but to learn to not care what people thought about me being different. I will always remember that beautiful soul. Thank you Winter for helping so many people with their challenges <3

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Winter. I think of you often, and still treasure my Dolphin Tale movie collection. I also treasure my Winter necklace my friend got me. I still wish that I could have met you like I planned on doing someday. I love that your ashes were released so beautifully in a sea salt urn by your care team family at CMA, and I teared up when I read that the Coast Guard began the ceremony. I hope you’re having a wonderful Heavenly birthday swimming playfully and peacefully without pain and without sorrow. I even wonder if perhaps you’re blessed with a real tail of your own in Heaven. Though your wonderful prosthetic tail was a blessing in and of itself. Happy Birthday, Winter.
