I never had the pleasure of meeting Winter but I knew her story. I have watched Dolphin Tale 1 and 2 countless times. I was born with a rare heart condition. Winter has showed me that it's ok to be different. To live life to its fullest. To defy all odds. Even though I never met her, I will miss her

My name is Hannah Iler. I’m 15 years old and live far away from Clearwater, however I’m one of the many people winter has impacted. I had Cranial Maxilofacial surgery when I was seven due to a severe overbite. I met winter the summer before I had surgery. I remember that she came right up to the glass of her tank and and pressed her nose to my hand and it was just a magical experience. She was so inspirational to so many people around the world. She’s the reason I got through that point in my life. 

Rest In Paradise little dolphin, you’ll never be forgotten by my family or anyone else’s.♥️♥️

I am 21 years old Winter saved my life from suicide because I have adhd and autism life was so hard. She helped me continue though I never got to see her in person. I love you Winter rest in peace

I am so sorry for everyone's loss she has become the life of me for so many years through so many years I even had winter tattooed on my neck because I loved her so much and I was actually going to try and come see her this summer and I found out she's gone and I keep telling everybody when I die I'm going to come back as winter I will be a dolphin

I remember watching the movies and going to the Aquarium when Winter was there.

I actually got to see Winter after my epilepsy diagnosis, she brought me so much comfort and I'll forever miss her

Winter really was I sweet dolphin with a loving heart. I never got to meet her but I watched the dolphin tale movie and I really wanted to see her, I searched her up and it said she died in 2021. I was so shocked.

R.I.P Winter we all love you.
