I am fortunate we never got to see her in person but I had always planned to I discovered her From the movie dolphin town and the heroin love started watching the stream closest thing to a birthday thing I can think of is at 1 poi. Wrote a poem. That got included in a newsletter I was subscribed to.

My oldest daughter is a Senior in high school and still sleeps with her Winter Dolphin she's had since she was 6 years old.

I was lost when I heard the news of Winter's passing.i loved her so much, along with millions of other people.

I had previously celebrated My Birthday before My Mom& I got to get together & We had decided to visit Clearwater Aquarium (due fact that Dolphins no-matter the species are My favorite  Aquatic Animal) so We had gone to the viewing window of Winters tank& seen Her heading to surface as most of the people that had been there hoping to get a glimpse had given up thus were leaving but just as I approached the window Winter appeared right in-front  giving a full view(My Mom had let Me be the only one that was near the window) this so happened to take place a Year before Winter passed away.

We here in Clearwater really miss Winter and hope she is happy wherever she is. I pray Hope is doing well and the new dolphin. Thank you all for everything you do for these wounded animals and giving them a home to heal in. Winter really put Clearwater on the map with the movie about her in Dolphin Tales, aside from the beaches of course.

I don't have a memory of Winter on her birthday, but it is a special day, as she & my oldest son have the same Birthday. I always loved watching winter on the Webcam as much as I have loved watching my son grow up

I drove my grandchildren, 6 and 8, from DeLand FL to visit this extraordinary gift to the world. It was an inspiration to watch her swim and hear her story from one of her keepers. My grands were allowed to hold one of her prosthesis. It was a poignant time for my grandchildren and when that precious friend to all passed away, we wept. How thankful we were to get to meet her.

i met winter in 2017 when i was 7 and she inspired me to just be myself and don't worry about what people think of you so when i found out that she had died i cryed all day and night. Rest in peace Winter.

We saw winter and hope in 2017 we travelled from England to see them .. they were a big part of my children’s lives … magical winter we are sad to hear of your passing may you swim forever xxxx

He liked to play
Either with toys or swimming with some of the staff. She would splash people- blue rasberries when he was in a funny mood. I loved the movies.

I am so sorry about Winter ever since I saw her in Dolphin tale one and two I knew that she was special. She will always be in the hearts of everyone in the world.

When I was 4 years old the second dolphin tale movie came out and I watched both of them and loved them so much and I had always loved dolphins when I found out about Winter and Hope I begged and begged my parents to go see her so the next year (2015) when I was 5 we went on a vacation to Florida and we saw Winter, Hope, and Nicholas I loved them so much, for the next like 5 years every time I could choose a topic for a school project or anything I would choose Winter or Dolphins in general. I also got the chance to see Winter in 2017 on another vacation and I bought a Winter stuffed animal that I still have sitting in my bed 6 years later. When Winter died I cried for weeks non stop and everytime I think about her I still tear up. When she died i felt like i lost a part of myself it felt like losing a bestfriend or even sister. Ever since I was 4 and saw winter on my tv I have been sure my job some day will be to work at cma and help animals like her ❤️

I never met Winter in person, but I learnt of her story through the movie Dolphin Tale, and I have always wanted to fly to the USA to meet her. Rest in Piece, Winter; you are missed y everyone who has heard of you.

I was a fan of her when I watched Dolphin Tale 1 and 2 from 2015-2018. I was interested to know about her and see her vlog by watching her youtube video via CMA official youtube channel. I also made a plan to meet in reality by the time I'm in college. The plan was scraped and revised late 2021 after I heard about her tragic event from news radio. I was supprised that she died young same age as me, I also felt so sorry to workers at CMA and fans like me. At least Winter happy in heaven just like my aunt who died 2 months later after Winter's resting. Both rest at the same year in same resting method (cremenation) and died young. May both rest in peace🙏😥!
