It is so true people are not remembered for the jobs but for the emotions they evoke and the feeling they leave you with. Winnie was a great colleague and an empathetic leader. She spent time listening and encouraging if she saw one low. As a colleague she did not hold back appreciation of another’s work. I will remember her always as a great human being, warm and helpful. We will all miss you.
"May her soul rest in peace, even if I don't know her personally but I could feel the ambiance that she emitting as a leader, a leader that has tender loving care for his associates.
Not many leaders greet you with a hug and remember well the last conversation we had. On a personal note I enjoyed moments of conversation and hearing ideas, and on many occasions saw the vibrant eyes of an excited teacher and student, the last time was in Nicaragua and I've much to be grateful for. Rest in peace dear lady
I remember my first interaction with Winnie keenly, it was my final interview for my now position with Concentrix.. I felt confident preparing for my conversation with her days before the interview and in speaking with Manfred randomly, he asked how I felt, "Great" I responded in what I remember being a very confident tone...
Manfred then explained that Winnie was incredibly smart, simply put - which coming from him meant a great deal.. I then remember just being very nervous.
What was scheduled to last 1hr ended up being a 3hr interview via Skype video - which was exactly what I thought it would be, very tough. Close to the end of the interaction I'm pretty certain I got Winnie to smile a number of times and afterwards I knew for sure Concentrix is where I wanted to be - with strong, talented, smart and incredibly sharp leaders.
My interactions with Winnie thereafter never disappointed - she challenged everyone to be better and push harder; moreover, she listened to opinions with a great deal of humility where needed and stood her ground.
I'll miss working with her and feel so grateful to have known her if even for a short time - I take solace in knowing that she helped mold much of Concentrix and many of the leaders here.
Our deepest condolences to the family of Winnie Sun -- a true example of a fanatic leader and a dedicated disruptor in the marketplace. The whole CONCENTRIX family will miss you.
