"Wini" Pike, age 81, of Wheatland, California, passed away July 8, 2025 under hospice care following complications from heart surgery several months previously. Her youngest, son William, "Will" Pike became her caregiver in the last years of her life. Devoting his time to giving her the best care possible and making arrangements for her continued care when she could no longer be cared for at her home. 

Wini, along with her twin brother Wayne, was born on December 3, 1943 to Dera, and James Pugh, and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Wini went on to graduate from Narimasu, Itabashi City, Tokyo, Japan in 1962. After graduating from high school,  Wini married twice and had 5 children, Nikki, Tracey, Kellie, Katie and William.  She studied Horticulture at Yuba Community College at Marysville, Ca. Campus.

Wini lived a humble country life eventually settling in the small town of Wheatland where she mostly lived since 1972, raising all of her children.  She worked at Stineman's Farm supply in Wheatland, where she designed and installed sprinkler systems for local farmers for many years. She was a cook at Bill's place in Wheatland also. Her children were her legacy to the World and she eventually had 16 grand children and 6 great grand children at the time of her passing.

Wini was predeceased by her Mother Dera Pugh and Father James Pugh. Sisters, Norma Scocca, Yvonne Parkin, & Jeanne Wood.  Grandchildren Kylie Morris and Christopher Riggins. 

Wini had four cats at the time of her passing, loved plants, and collecting various vintage items and antiques. She was loved and will be missed.
