We loved Wilma when she worked at SPJST. She took very good care of our Mom, Leona Fagan and was a special friend to our family. I believe Wilma was an angel sent to bring happiness and love to everyone that entered the doors at SPJST. We are so sad that she gone but we all rejoice knowing she is in Heaven celebrating with Jesus and all her family and friends. I bet Wilma is in charge of BINGO in Heaven. My condolences to her family!
To the Whatley Family,
Our deepest sympathy for your loss.

Wilma and I have been great friends for many years. In the days before she passed, we talked about death and dying and she was certain she was going to heaven. I asked her if she would send me a butterfly to let me know she made it to heaven and she shook her head yes. Several days before she left us, I asked her again if she remembered our deal and she shook her head yes and smiled. Seven days had gone by since her passing and I was thinking of her on my drive to work. I knew I would not see any butterflies in the winter, in February. When I got to work, Katie, our Activity Director, brought in a sympathy card she had purchased the night before to send to her sons. I turned the card over and there was the most beautiful butterfly on the card sparkling with glitter, and I knew Wilma had sent the butterfly. I knew she had made it to heaven. No one knew our "deal". And of all the condolence cards Katie could have chosen, she chose the one with the butterfly. So of all my most cherished memories of Wilma, this is the most important. To tell you that when you see a butterfly, know who is watching over you and why. Love you so much Wilma and I am so grateful that God placed you in my life. I'll see you again.

Wilma was such a sweet lady, always brought out a smile from everyone she spoke with. If I was having a hard day at work she always reminded me what a difference we were all making in their lives. She always had time to listen if you had something you wanted to share with her and gave good advise. She will be dearly missed. We all loved her !!
