Wilma's obituary
Wilma Vinsick, age 76, was welcomed into Heaven on Wednesday June 4th, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1949, in Ravenna, OH to William and Paula Kline. She was a beacon of kindness to all who knew her and lived a life full of love, laughter, and selfless service to others. Though our hearts mourn, we take comfort in knowing Wilma's faith in Jesus Christ.
Wilma graduated Ravenna High School in 1967, she went on to become a nurse and touched the lives of many across assisted care facilities, hospitals, and prisons. Wilma was known for her advocacy in securing funding at the local and state levels for those who could not speak for themselves; including for her beloved son Jason. She embraced the power of prayer and regularly used it to support and uplift her friends and family.
Wilma was a cherished mother of 4, survived by her children; James Ellis (Kim Ellis), Jason Ellis, Nathan Boston (Kim Boston), and Bridget Faler (Micah Faler). Grandmother of 7: Kara Stolz, Craig Ellis, Luke Faler, Laney Faler, Tyler Boston, Ella Boston, and Sean Boston who survive her and will always remember her positive outlook, kindness, and faith in Jesus through the ups and downs of life. She was the beloved sister of Connie Arnold, Kenneth Kline, Bev Mothersbaugh, and Kathy Jones who will miss their dear sister greatly. She was predeceased by her husband Bob Vinsick and loving parents, William and Paula Kline.
Wilma was an extraordinary individual who loved to entertain and make people laugh. Her heart was full of unconditional love and respect for everyone she met. Her radiant personality had a special way of making each person feel special. She treated everyone the same valuing strengths over weaknesses.
A Celebration of Life service for Wilma will be held on June 14, 2025, from 1-3pm at Genoa Church- 7562 Lewis Center Rd. Westerville, OH 43082. We invite all who knew and loved Wilma to join us in sharing memories and celebrating her life. Light food and beverages will be served.
In lieu of flowers, if so inclined, donations can be made for the care of her special needs son Jason.
