I was sad and it affected me deeply when I heard the news of Wilma Jane's passing. She lived her life mostly alone since the deaths of her parents many years ago! She and I had become pretty close in the almost last 3 years since my husband passed away. She was a 1st cousin to my Berkley and they used to talk on the phone very often. Since he has been gone I have kinda taken her under my wing in his place so to speak! I just tried to be a friend and keep tabs on her. She needed my friendship and maybe I needed hers as well. I hope I was a comfort to her in her last days!
