My prom date!!!! There was an adult prom and Miss Durr was my prom date. My aunt Kay actually made me go but when she told me who my date was I was happy but didn’t want ti be there all day. Once we got to dancing and having fun I did not want to leave, I was mad when it was over, we had so much fun. I love you Miss Durr and I am forever grateful for all you showed me through the years especially during the Brookshouse days, IYKYK! -#MossStreet4Life!!!!

My Prom Date❤️.. I don’t even remember or don’t even know. I think Mrs. Durr met me when I didn’t even know what meeting people were , meaning I was a baby. When I was young she kept me in some sort of program at the Brookshouse and I know for sure she prayed for me while she was here in the physical and is one of my Angels in spirit. I put I was a child of hers because she was a mother to the community Love you Mae Mae❤️

Mrs. Durr was an awesome woman and I'm glad I had the opportunity to know her. So sorry for her loss. Praying for the family during this time.

The Edmon Family send their condolences to Mrs. Durr family. She was a beautiful lady. I remember her and my grandmother Mrs. Edmon (Granny) going to precincts meetings, candidates fundraiser/ events and running their precincts voting sites for many years. They both supported each other Federated Women Club during their events. Mrs. Durr rest on in your Heavenly home.

I remember Mrs. Durr when i was a teenager in the Tabitha Calyx Girls Club. She was a sweet lady very direct and passionate and a proud black woman who wanted the best. A jewel..Take your rest.
