Willie Lee Smith Sr., 55, of Norfolk, VA, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, in Covington, Ga. Willie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mable and Cleo Smith. Willie is survived by his wife, Sonya Smith; his children, Derek Robinson, Teaera Hawkins, Willie Smith Jr, Taylor Figueroua, and Makayla Smith; his grandchildren, Tyler Poe, Bryson Millard, Zeniyah Smith, Jordan Hawkins, Willie Smith III, and Mekhi Parker. His siblings, Grizolda Roscoe, Robert Smith, and Debra Hall, as well as nieces, nephews, supportive friends, and mentors, in past and recent years, he has worked as a chef for various chain restaurants and as a Logistics technician. He truly enjoyed every career. A celebration of life will be held on July 5th at Rest Ashured for a Scattering Ceremony in Virginia Beach, VA.
