With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Willie Gordon, a loving family man known for his generosity and caring spirit. Born on August 3, 1944, Mr. Gordon passed away on August 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.
Mr. Gordon is survived by his devoted wife, Frances Gordon; his children, Sabrina Gordon, Nicole Gordon, and Willie Gordon; and his siblings, Marydine Ross, Anniemae Ross, and Joe Ross. He leaves a wealth of love in the form of his adorable grandchildren - Sade Gordon, Keisha Gordon, Denard Gordon, Travis Gordon, Elliot Ross, Kevin Gordon, and Sam Ross. His cousins, Mary Gordon, Amanda Ross, Tasha Gordon, Natalie Gordon, Geraldine Ross, Thomas Ross, and Anthony Ross, will miss his vibrant personality and wise counsel.
He was predeceased by his beloved grandson, Willie Gordon, and his siblings Joann Gordon and Johnny Gordon. Willie's memory will forever live in the hearts of his family and everyone who knew him.
Known to have a spirited personality, Mr. Gordon was best described as generous, loving, and caring. He had a passion for simple pleasures in life - he found joy in drinking cold Pepsi, fishing, and listening to reggae music. He was also a strong supporter of the Dolphin sports team. His favorite vacation spot was the Bahamas, a place synonymous with relaxation and serenity for him.
Mr. Gordon held the color black close to his heart and his generous nature mirrored the depth of the color. He strongly believed in the power of self-belief and often shared this valuable lesson with his loved ones.
Achieving personal and professional success was important to Mr. Gordon. But his greatest accomplishment, as he often expressed, was being able to provide for his family, which he did lovingly and unwaveringly.
Willie Gordon's passing is a tremendous loss for many but his life and values will continue to inspire and guide those fortunate to have known him.
