Willie's obituary

Willie B. Dunbar, 81, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on January 18,2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Willie was born on November 27, 1940 to James & Florence Dunbar Sr. in Woodville. He landed his first business as a proprietor for Dunbar's Cement Finishing for years. Later Willie owned a chain of entertainment venues in New Orleans, La. for 18 years, (June's Inc.) where he and his daughter Shirl, managed together. Willie had a love for traveling with the New Orleans Saints and attending every home game with year round season tickets.
Willie has three children Rev. Shirl A. P. Solomon (Tx.), Chantel Dominique, and Willie Dominique of New Orleans, La., 9 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Willie was baptized at Mount Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Karl V. Perry, where he served as Deacon, and later became a member of Guiding Light Baptist Church in New Orleans, La.Willie was also a passionate Pool Champion and could often be found traveling with his team when he wasn’t at home. Anyone who knew Willie knew that he was the most loving father a family could ask for.
