William's obituary

William Daniel Yount, born on March 28, 1960, passed away on May 19, 2025. Will fought the good fight after a valiant battle with rectal cancer. He is now at peace and in no more pain.

William is survived by his son, Heath Yount, and daughter-in-law, Brianna Yount and his daughter, Elizabeth Scroggins and his son-in-law, Josh Scroggins.

He was the proud Poppy of Hayden, Brooklyn, and Hayze Yount, and Landon, Ryder, and Natalie Scroggins. His eyes filled with joy and pride whenever he spoke about his grandchildren, and they will miss him dearly.

William is also survived by his brother, Jeff Yount, and his sister-in-law, Tina Yount. As well as numerous nieces and  nephews. He also had a very special friend, Marcy Pouland. Whom he spoke about so often.

William was predeceased by his father, William Howard Yount, his mother, Pauline Yount, his sister, Kathy Jean Allen, and his brother, James Howard Yount and his grandson, Wyatt Holden Yount.

William’s absence will create an irreplaceable void in our lives. May he rest in peace, knowing that his memory and impact will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.
