William "Elton" Williamson, 79, of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away on January 15, 2022 after a battle with cancer.

Elton was born on March 30, 1942 to Louise and Dexter Williamson in Pike County, Mississippi.

Elton was predeceased by his wife, Irma Williamson, mother and father, Louise and Dexter Williamson, sisters, Sue Cowart, Pansy Melancon, Linda Smith, Bonnie McLin, brothers, Dickie Williamson, Charles Ray Williamson and Stanley Williamson. He is survived by wife, Joan Udolie Williamson, sons, Stanley and Steven WIlliamson (Lacee), Jeffrey Roberts (Wanda), Brenda Roberts-Beardain (Roger), Gina Roberts Crotwell (Clark), sister, Mary Dale Williamson, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elton was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed immensely,

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Clark Dale Crotwell, Trevor Hood, Travis Hood, Tyler Hood, Cody Crotwell, Todd Crotwell, Hunter Roberts and Lucas Roberts.

Visitation will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, 14512 Greenwell Springs Road, Greenwell Springs, La on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held afterwards at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, La at 2:00 p.m.
