William "Bill" Whitworth, 63, of Anderson, IN, passed away on January 01, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his wife and daughters.
Bill was born on January 10, 1959 in Anderson, IN where he was raised by this parents, Mary Jo and Raymond Whitworth. Bill graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1979 and most recently employed at Red Gold of Elwood.
In 1980, he met the love of his life, Gayla, and they wed in 1981. They have two daughters, Krista and Brooke. Bill was also passionate about sports and could often be found golfing, going to sporting events or at his grandchildren’s many extracurriculars. He shined most when mentoring, coaching and being a show choir dad. He did this for many years with his girls and even his grandchildren. He became a father figure to more than just his own children, but also many of their friends. Bill had many friends and didn’t know a stranger.
Bill was predeceased by his mother, Mary Jo Whitworth. He is survived by his father, Raymond Whitworth, his sister Jacque (Nicole) Whitworth, his wife Gayla Whitworth, daughters Brooke (Brandon) Maves, Krista (Jesse) Hunter, and grandchildren, Drew, Sadee, Stella and Gabriel.
