My condolences to Bill's family. Billy was the boy next door..his family was a major part of my early days. There will always be a place in my heart for the Szalach boys.

Bill and I grew up together, we lived about 10 houses apart from each other. We met before kindergarten and we were inseparable spending every day together. We played little league baseball together, were in cub scouts, went to grade school, worked at the same gas station. 

Bill was my oldest and dearest friend, a friend that I could go months and months without talking to and when we talked again it was like we never missed a beat. 

I will never forget visiting him and Rosie in Oscoda and in Denver there were so many great memories there. 

Bill old friend I am going to miss you something fierce and regret that we didn't get to see each other one last time.
