Bill's obituary

William John Stewart (Bill Stewart), born on March 4, 1968, resided in Roswell and Sandy Springs, Georgia and passed away unexpectedly at age 54 on September 21, 2022. He leaves behind his parents, John and Ann; his sons, Alex and Sean; his sister, Linda; as well as 3 nieces, 5 grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends.

Originally from Clifton Park, New York, Bill settled in Georgia nearly 30 years ago. Throughout his time in the north Atlanta area, Bill worked in restaurants, small businesses, and technology companies. He also started two companies, a homemade jerky company called Stewart Jerk Co, and a family-owned in-home dining venture called Yes Chef! atl. You could bet that if there was a project related to food, customer service, or technology, Bill was interested and thriving in it.
In fact, Bill's passion for food and community influenced every part of his life. On any given day, you might find him handing out free hot dogs to floaters on the Chattahoochee River, whipping up an incredible meal from scratch for a random weekday dinner with friends, family and neighbors, or enjoying sports and friends at North River Tavern. He never missed an opportunity to share his passion of food with others, laughs and memories always included.

It is hard for us to believe that such a vibrant source is gone. He gave us many smiles, laughter, and empathy over the years. Our condolences go out to all his family, friends, and neighbors.
Please join us in a celebration of Bill's life hosted by his immediate family from 3-7pm on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 420 Wexford Way, Roswell, GA 30075. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Bill's name to American Heart Association (link provided below).
