William Stanley DuPont died suddenly on the night of January 31, 2024 at his Athens, Texas residence. William was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Jack and Helen DuPont where their family had been since the early 1960's. Following a grammar and high school career he attended The University of Virginia where he acquired his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. 

When William wasn't working alongside his father at their family owned and operated investment office he could be found boating, reading, or honing a new skill. William aspired to learn Klingon, the fictional language made famous by Star Trek and also hoped to propose to his long term girlfriend Marie in the coming spring.

William is predeceased by his grandparents and his good friend Samuel. He is survived by his parents Jack and Helen of Fort Worth, sister Emily of Dallas, aunt and uncle Sarah and Peter, and good friends Matt, John, and James.
