So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I thought he was so handsome when I was a little girl in Brooklyn. The last time I saw him was at the Ruocco reunion at Ellis Island in about 2002. My father Joseph Ruocco was my Uncle Angelo's brother.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dad ❤️
Today, October 6th, 2025, would have been my father William “Bill” A. Ruocco 96th birthday. Born in Brooklyn in 1929, just before the Depression, he was blessed with steady and loving parents, and he carried that steadiness throughout his own life.
This is the first year I can’t pick up the phone, send a card, or hear him joke, “I’ll be 100 next year!” Dad was fit, sharp, and determined, and to make it to 95 is pretty remarkable.
As I look out the window today — at the sky, the sun, the birds — I don’t hear him calling “Hey Joanne,” but I feel him in my heart. I feel his presence with me every single moment since his peaceful passing on June 14, 2025.
Happy birthday in heaven, Daddy. I wrap my arms and my heart around you. I love you always and pray that we’ll meet again on the other side with Mom, Jane, and all our family and friends who’ve gone before. ❤️
Love always,
Joanne

We are so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing — and Marisa’s — and our deepest condolences to the three of you and your extended family. But oh my SO MANY MEMORIES over so many years! Besides all the local connections, some of Vince and my dearest memories (Karen's too!) are our summer vacations with them in the Massa Lubrense villa, and our culinary and sightseeing excursions to Positano and Sorrento. We were all blessed with deep friendships that knew no bounds of time or circumstance. May these and all of our memories continue to be a blessing to all of us. Ruth and Karen Positan
PS. Mom (Ruth) turned 100 in March. She is still doing well. Amen.
