William Rodriguez aka “Chill Will” or Pito, 54, died suddenly on June 5th, 2023, at his home in Hartford, CT.

Willie was born on February 23rd, 1969, in Camden, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Justo and Catalina; 5 siblings, Tomasa, Graciano, Carmelo, Melvin and Manuel; and, 1 grandchild, Xen. He is survived by his 5 children, William, Brandon, Nathalie, Catalina, and Geo; 3 grandchildren, Londynn, Zacari, and Stellaluna; and, 14 siblings. 

Willie was the youngest male in his family of 20. He attended grammar school in New Jersey and high school in Connecticut. Willie enjoyed being a member of the Boy Scouts of America until 1981. After the death of his father, his mother moved the family to Connecticut where Willie lived the remainder of his life. His greatest accomplishments were his 5 children. In his later years, Willie deeply contemplated his faith and committed himself to Christ. He was saved.

Willie was strong willed and had a big heart. He meant more to his family than he ever understood. As per his wishes, his body was cremated and a private, church service was held in Connecticut on June 19, 2023. His ashes will be buried with his parents on July 14 at Calvary Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum at 2398 Marlton Pike West (State Highway, Route 70 West) in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Psalm 23:4- Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
