William Robertson III was a Eagle Scout at age 16yrs. He was in the USAAF at age 18-yrs During WWII from 1943-1945. His Rank was SSGT, (RO) Navigator, who new Morse Code. He was part of 330th Bomber Squadron B-29 Superfortress.
His Crew the 901, flew K-52 (42-93964 and 44-61618) for 20-Missions. "City of Rock Island" aka "Babies Buggy". This crew was awarded multiple Air Medals and DFC's. The FE, Garrett was replaced by FO George Boutross at the end of May 1945. Here they are in July 1945. William Robertson received his "Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering" from the University of Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana.
He had worked on several Government Projects with US Army Corps of Engineers, Vitro Laboratories and later worked for a Consulting Engineer firm "Duluth, Cather and Parson".
William Robertson III was also 32nd Degree Freemason. He was a Knights Templar. He was Christian and Family man who attend to his Church every Sunday. .
