I only encountered Bill about a dozen times, but I came to understand him deeply through the numerous anecdotes shared by those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. This is the mark of a man with a divine purpose: the ability to transform one's lowest moments into valuable lessons, propelling us forward in the direction we aspire. A close friend, James Kaspar, once remarked that Bill accomplished the seemingly impossible, compressing the natural processes that take the world millions or even billions of years into a mere 3-4 days, all while applying pressure to turn us into diamonds. Such sentiments were frequently expressed during the weekends when Bill dedicated himself to serving alongside the many volunteers he influenced.

 as we begin to process the loss of Bill Reeves, we are reminded of the profound impact he had on each of us. Bill wasn't just a name on an impeccable name tag , he was a vibrant soul whose essence now lives on in the memories we share 

In honoring Bill's life, let us open our remembrance to the stories and anecdotes that define him. Let us cherish the moments we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the lessons he imparted. For in doing so, we honor not just his memory but the profound impact he had on the hundreds of thousands of men and women positively affected by his service.

Like Marcus Aurelius, who expressed gratitude for those who enriched his life, let us pause to appreciate the blessings of having known Bill. Let us acknowledge the ways in which he shaped us, challenged us, and ultimately made us better individuals.

And in our sorrow, let us take comfort in the knowledge that we are not alone. Bill's passing is a reminder of our shared humanity, our collective resilience in the face of adversity. Together, we mourn his loss, but together, we also celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.

So as we say our farewells to Bill, let us hold onto the memories, the lessons, and the love he bestowed upon us. And let us find solace in the truth that, though he may be gone, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, dear Bill. Your weekend  is now  transitioning in to your legacy and your legacy is now about to begin! 

I learned so much from Mr. Reeves...it was such an honor to be of service with and for him...what an amazing man of very few words...he will be missed dearly....love to all of his family.

I first met Bill in 1998 when I began volunteering at the Sterling Institute of relationship he was the kitchen manager. I volunteered with him every week. Eventually, Bill became staff a hired on person at the Sterling Institute. I became his partner for a short time when I too worked there. He treated me with the utmost respect, we spoke about helping humanity and helping the world helping others. I’ll never forget him. He lives in my heart forever. He set the bar very high for how a partner should be with a woman. I learned to be my most feminine self while partnering Bill.  because Bill was so masculine and powerful he shined with a woman who lives in her most powerful feminine self.  He was very stoic had high standards spoke elegantly  and men respected him he always listened to what I had to say and I was always greeted with a hug and a smile no matter where we were three years later when I left the Institute, he said I saved something for you. He had saved a folder. I had written notes on during my time there. My life is forever changed because of you Bill Reeves may rest in peace you live on inside of all of the lives. You’ve touched all the people who knew you your legacy lives on with high standards, commitment, self-discipline, generosity, forgiveness, unwavering strength that was you and that’s who we all strive to be , my heart goes out to your family to all your nephews nieces, sisters, brother mom dad I have so much gratitude for what I learned from you. You will live on through me in the way that I am in the world rest in peace.

 Our world is smaller without this generous and dedicated man.

 My prayers are with the family and all the close friends of Mr. Reeves.
