William's obituary

William Marvin “Billy” Reddick Sr. was born December 2, 1966 to Albert Reddick Sr. and June Marie Franklin at South Suburban Hospital in Markham, Illinois. The youngest of 11 children, he attended Salem Lutheran elementary school and Gorden middle school before graduating from Bremen High School. He married Yolanda Whyte in 1986 and had 4 children Cheetara, William Jr., Dawn, and DaRon.

Early on in his life, he worked for the St Lucie County Sheriff department and the Chicago Public school system, but soon realized those were not his chosen career. Billy became a truck driver and did that for over 20 years. He remarried Penny Green in 2016.

On July 9,2023, while surrounded by loved ones, Billy passed away peacefully in his sleep. Proceeding him in death are both his parents June and Albert, his brothers Carey Sr, Ted, Darryl, and Clarence, and his sisters Gail, Myrié and Dawn. He leaves behind to cherish his 4 children Cheetara (LaZerrick) Gregory, William Reddick Jr., Dawn (Denardo) Webb, DaRon (Andrea) Reddick. His grandchildren William Reddick III, Orianna-Gabrielle, LaMiyah, D’Anna, LaZerrick Jr, Taraney,Khalil, Jayden, Joel, Kiara, Tearra, Ciara, Denardo Jr., Aiden, King, DaRon Jr., Morocco, Alexziana and Tristian. His brothers Milton and Tony and his sister Joy. A host of aunties, uncles, cousins and close friends.
