Bill once extended a pair of last minute Giants tickets to myself one morning for an afternoon game. It was that game where I met my wife for the very first time. 12 years and three boys later I still think about Bill and how generous, thoughtful, kind and caring of a human being he was. Bill was great at lumber sales, but more importantly he showed genuine care and interest in the people he interacted with. I am more than grateful to have met and worked with Bill in my days at Webcor, he was unmatched and will be missed dearly. My deepest condolences to all his family, friends and colleagues for the loss of a great man.
Bill and Lyn were our maid of honor and best man at our wedding. Also we were there’s at their wedding. We have spent every Xmas day together for some 30 years except for when my dad passed and my folks were here to spend the holidays. We also shared most of their birthdays with them and we were with bill at his last birthday. Pete was like a son to bill as he is much younger than me and when I married him he became very close. Bill was at our house a lot and we spent a lot of time at the delta with them. Bills boating’s not in the obit but he had many boats and was commodore of the Benecia Yacht Club. Also they both were active in the Novato community.
