It is with deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Vassilios (Bill) Poulos on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 in his 84th year.

Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Sophie Poulos, his mother Maria Poulos and father James Poulos, and his half brother Jack Poulos.

Partner to Janice Blair, his loving and dedicated companion of over 20 years), and loving father to Carla Poulos Young (Kevin Young), Deana Newell, Jamie Poulos, and grandfather to Jake and Ava Newell; brother to George Poulos, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bill grew up in Vancouver, raised his family in Richmond before settling in Surrey. He was a well respected pharmaceutical rep at Rhône-Poulenc where he retired from after a long and successful career. Bill was known for his love of travelling, good food and movies, and great friends. He was always on the move, on his boat or in his motorhome ; he was at his happiest on the road or on the water.

Often the life of the party, Bill will be remembered for his love of friends, family and wanderlust and of course, his boat, The Misty Isle. His wonderful company will be sadly missed by friends and family of all generations.

Our family is grateful to Janice for all her loving care and attention to our father since he was diagnosed with the devastating illness, Lewy Body Dementia.

A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
