How you can help
In 1991, Ace was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The doctors told us that he could either die from the cancer or try some new, experimental drugs and die from those, but help disease research in the process. Ever the supporter of scientific research, Ace chose the latter and defied the odds. His cancer went into remission where it stayed for 4 years before returning in 1996 but he beat it back for good that time.
We had the privilege of enjoying Ace in our lives for 32 years that cancer tried to take away. He got to see his children grow into adulthood, enjoyed all of his grandchildren and oh did he dance! All of this was thanks to the research funded by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In Ace's memory, we want to give back to the organization that gave us those 32 priceless years. Contribute to Blood Cancer United
