William's obituary
We regretfully announce the peaceful passing of William "Billy" Gray, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend who departed us on February 6, 2024. Born on November 15, 1971, William, commonly referred to as Billy, made a significant imprint on the lives of everyone he encountered.
Known for his kindness, hard work, and trustworthiness, William was an exemplary individual who believed in the importance of diligence, always imparting upon us the lesson to work hard. His most notable accomplishment was his honorable service in the military, a feat that demonstrated his unwavering dedication and loyalty.
William built a rich legacy of kindness and generosity, a testament to the exceptional man he was. His interests were diverse, ranging from listening to his favorite bands, Def Leppard and Guns N' Roses, watching his favorite TV shows, 24, SWAT, and NCIS, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. William also loved playing Texas Hold Em, Phase 10, Four Crowns and spending quality time with his children, grandchildren, and completing puzzles.
He leaves his cherished memories with his sons, Talon, Tanner, and Tyler Gray, his mother Suzanne Gray, his sister Terri McCann, and his brother Jeremy Gray. William was predeceased by his father, Jim Gray; we believe they are now at peace together.
A Memorial service honoring William's life will be held on February 19, 2024, at 01:00 PM at 14510 Cedar Heights Rd. All are welcomed to come and pay their respects. In William's favorite colors, red and blue, we will remember his life and love.
