RIP. You will be missed with your genuine spirit..
I am very sorry for your loss, I met William at Thomas Johnson Jr High School, we became friends early on. He was a good guy, very friendly and had a good heart. I always thought well of him, never a cross word between us. A person of his quality will always be missed and needed in this world. My sincerest sympathies to the family.

Dear Newton Family,

Praise God for the years William 'Jay' spent with us. His journey here on earth was not in vain. He is remembered as a committed, kind, and gentle soul. He was a blessing to the Minnifield and Cheeks family in many ways. As I shared with a friend upon hearing the sad news, our families (Minnifield) worshiped at the same church for many years, he went on to attend another church that we (Cheeks)  ended up at as well. William 'Jay'  is a believer and Jesus saw to it that God's got him now!  God Bless You All!

Our two families have a lifetime of memories. William will be forever in our hearts. Rest in eternal peace 🙏🏽
