>William Lew, 77, of Riverside, CA, passed away on March 05, 2026 after a long battle with Bladder Cancer.
>William was born on 2/15/1949 to Tom & Fay Lew in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating from Warren High School in 1967, he was drafted in the Army in 1969. Bill enjoyed his time in the Army very much and studied hard to earn his rank of Sargent E5 in less than 12 months. He served at the DMZ in Korea during the Vietnam conflict. >When Bill returned to the states, he continued his career as a Journeyman Meatcutter, at Ralphs, Market Basket, and Albertsons for over 30 years. He had two children from his first marriage, Kristi & Deanne. He then met and married his second wife, Nancy, they wed in June, 1979, going on to have 2 children, Adam Scott and Amy Jennifer.
>William was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Adam, Amy, and Nancy and always tried his best to support them.
>William was also a passionate Bowler and Fisherman and could often be found fishing at Lake Perris, among other lakes, or bowling at his favorite alley, when he wasn’t at home.
>Anyone who knew William knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. William was predeceased by Father, Thomas, Mother, Fay, Brother Fred, Sisters, Lane and Kathy. He is survived by wife, Nancy, Children, Adam, Amy, Kristi & Deanne, Brother, Ken & Sister-in-law Ong, along with many nieces and nephews. > There will be a Military memorial, held at Riverside National Cemetery, Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 2pm, with a reception to follow at the Venue, Inland Empire. An additional Memorial will Be held on Sunday, April 26, from 12-3pm at Vertigo Event Center, Glendale, CA.
