William (Bill) Robert Lee, age 71, of Leesburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at the Vibra Hospital in Richmond, VA. He leaves behind his wife, Diana Lee, two sons, Nathan Lee and Jeff Lee, two daughters-in-law, Christina Lee and Alisha Lee, and seven grandchildren, Caroline (preceded in death), Sadie, Jeffrey, Josh, Lilian, Anna, and a soon to-be-delivered baby boy to admire and hold dear memories of his life.

Bill was born on May 22, 1948, in Kinston, NC to Ann Barwick and Robert E. Lee. He is also survived by his brothers, Kenneth Lee (Helen), Lane Hardison, and sister, Jean Bernhardt (Charles). He grew up in Chesapeake, VA, attended Frederick College and graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. During his high school years, Bill began his love for media and for Christian ministry by volunteering as a cameraman for a fledging ministry called The 700 Club that was operating out of Pat Robertson’s garage in Portsmouth, VA.

Bill continued to use his God-given gifts to serve the Lord and others as a Loudoun County High School Band Director (12 years) and co-director of a residential drug rehab facility in Hillsboro, VA, called New Life for Girls (3 years). He also co-founded a Loudoun County youth ministry called Your House Incorporated (YHI) and was a non-denominational pastor for Christ Fellowship Church in Purcellville, VA for many years. Most recently, he worked part-time for Intercessors for America, Capitol Hill Prayer Partners, The Jerusalem Connection International, Middle East Research Center, and Koenig’s World Watch Daily.

The Memorial Service for Bill Lee will be on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Leesburg Community Church. All are welcome to attend. The address for Leesburg Community Church is 835 Lee Ave SW, Leesburg, VA 20175.
