Background
My son William Kern was a beautiful, kind, sensitive, intelligent man whose smile infected everyone who saw it. William will live on in our hearts, and his energy will be in our thoughts as long as we have them. Losing William to suicide has been devastating to our family, and we are determined that something good and positive come of this tragedy. We are creating this Memorial Fund in the hopes this organization will be able to save other lives through their research, education, and advocacy. By supporting the critical work of AFSP, we want to bring healing, in William's name, to everyone affected by suicide.
