Billy was a very active member of our neighborhood. He worked very hard to be sure everything worked very smoothly. I had the pleasure of working with him and consider him a good friend. He will certainly be missed. Sending love and prayers to Marilyn and all his family.

I knew Billy for over 26 years. When I married Billy’s son, Todd Kent, he told me our marriage was like no one else he knew. A love that would last. Billy was so proud when his first grandson was born William Cameron Kent, then a second boy Ely. Baylee was our caboose. Billy took my boys hunting and to many Alabama games. I remember him reading to Baylee and holding her a lot. Sarah Jett is the oldest and first grandchild, he was very involved with her from the beginning. Sarah has 2 sons, Billy’s great grandsons. I’ll always remember playing cards, going to the beach, boat rides, Alabama games.
