Bill's obituary
Bill joined the Air Force in November 1957, serving in Okinawa, Japan for a year. He was honorably discharged in September 1961.
Bill was an avid hunter who loved to hunt with his buddies in northern Wisconsin. He loved to golf, fish and was an excellent carpenter. He also was a ham radio operator. Bill worked in maintenance for most of his life. He owned and operated a resort (Breezy Point) outside of Rhinelander, Wisconsin with his wife Elaine, who has since passed.
Bill is survived by his wife Sharon, his daughters, Janet Paysay (Ray) Hoffman Estates, Ill., Gigi Rainer, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, Vonnie Castree, (Jeff) Baraboo, Wisconsin, his son William Jr. His stepchildren, Danny Rucks (Joanne) Glen Flora, Wisconsin and Sharyl Pingel (Russ) Janesville, Wisconsin. Numerous grandchildren and gr-grandchildren. His sisters Pricilla Treat (Jim) Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, Samantha Huff, Bangor, Maine. His brother Hiram (Nancy) Gerrish, Winter Harbor Me.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael, and wife Elaine.
The family would like to thank Southern Hospice Care in Alabama.
