Mr. Garrow was born November 15, 1938, in Niagara Falls, Niagara, New York. Bill succumbed to a short illness at Christus Mother Frances Hospital on April 30,2021 at 3:35pm.
Mr. Garrow grew up in Los Angeles, CA in 1943 with his family. He continued his education up until January 1956, when he heard the call of this Great nation and enlisted in the Navy. Which turned out to be the best decision Bill ever made, even if it was against the wishes of his mother. After his service, Mr. Garrow went to work at GTE and he worked his way up from a Janitor to a lineman. The company moved Mr. Garrow moved to Logansport, La and met his lovely wife Mildred Brazzell of Kilgore TX in 1979. He was with the company for 38 years and at the time of his retirement it had changed to Verizon.
Mr. Garrow was also a member of the Trail to Christ Cowboy Church. The very first time he walked in he said he felt at home. We, the family, find it fitting to have him here, one last time. Even if not in the physical.
Mr. Garrow married his first wife Joyce Holmquist in 1957 and they had 2 kids together. Harold William Garrow(Donna) And Frank Anton Garrow (Mike) prior to their marriage dissolving in 1974.
Mr. Garrow met his lovely wife Mildred Brazzell Of Kilgore TX in 1979, they married in 1980 and were together up until his departure from this world. Mildred had 3 daughters that Mr. Garrow loved as his own )Deborah Locke(D), Donna Brazzell (D) and Pam Shafer.
Bill, Billy and Bob would all get together and play Farkle, try to solve the world’s problems, or even do a little wood working. On Wednesdays Bill and Bob would often go to the boats to get out of Mildreds Hair and they truly enjoyed their time together. It often seemed it didn’t matter the project, It was always more about the fellowship. Mr. Garrow even made his own box, for his ashes, with room for his love Mildred to join him at the end of her time here as well.
Mr. Garrow Is Preceded in His Passing By Both Parents Harold & Edna Garrow.

He is Survived By: Mildred Garrow, his loving wife of 42 years
Both of his Sons: Frank and Harold (Billy) Garrow. A Daughter Pamela Shafer
Four Sisters: Shirley Palmer, Betty Leewit, Marie Verses And Linda Phillippi
His Grandchildren: Samantha Garrow, Crystal Looney, Will Crouch, Brandon Wiley, and Amanda Este. A host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren And a best friend In Robert (Bob) Gates.
Events:
His Memorial will be May 29, 2021 at 1pm to 3pm at: Trail to Christ Cowboy Church 5858 US Hwy 79W Jacksonville, TX, with Bro Mark Norman officiating. Perfectly Broken will sing some songs. Bill really enjoyed Bro Mark’s teachings and the twins' music.
Bill's Interment of Ashes will be at: The Mausoleum at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home Cemetery
