William Franklin Criss Jr of Starke, FL.  passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Sr.; his grandparents Jess and Doris Sandberg as well as Marion (Jack) and Joann Criss. He is also preceded by Aunt Marion (Micki) Cohen and Uncle Jess Sandberg III.

He is survived by his parents Stephen and Jani Wall; Sister, Hannah Criss; Sister and brother in love, Charity and Travis Roberts; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. He leaves his beloved nieces and nephews as well. Lorelai, Riley, Andrew and Benjamin Roberts.

Will, as he was known to many, was a private person but he loved his family in a big way.

Will was born in Harrodsburg, KY but grew up primarily in Prince Georges, MD. As an officer’s kid he lived in many places and left his mark on each of them.

He was always willing to do anything to help whoever he could. In the last several months he had been helping with his niece and nephews and had the joy of getting close with the children.

He was taken far too soon at the age of 32 from a heart attack. He was greatly loved and will be missed forever.

Will’s Memorial Service will be Saturday February 10th at 2pm at the Gainesville Salvation Army
