William Earl Jones “Bill”

Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep September 29th, 2023, after his morning breakfast, coffee and crossword puzzle Dad laid down for his late morning nap and passed from heart failure. Dad was born one of five children born in Washington DC to Thomas Edward Jones and Violet Louise Thomas Jones who preceded him in death along with siblings Edward, Charles, and Charlotte. Dad married Patricia Ann Nicely and had 7 children 12 grandchildren. With a proud history over 416 years of American lineage that continues as Dads is survived by his brother Robert and sister in-law Carol, and brother in-law Jack, sister in-law Ora Lee and 6 of his 7 children: Cynthia, Candy, Caythee, Rodney, Cady and Catricia and 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Preceded in death; his parents Thomas, Violet, Charles, Eddie, Charlotte, his wife Patricia, his son Michael, and his granddaughter Rebecka and many who have gone before his Dad will join now in our heavenly home.

Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want, He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside still waters, He restorers my soul, He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yeah, though I walk through the shadow of the valley of death, I fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me, Thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over, surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen
