William Denton, affectionately known as “Bill,” was born on June 12, 1952, to Jane Denton and Willie Pittmon, both of whom preceded him in death.
At an early age, Bill accepted Christ and committed his life to the Lord, laying a spiritual foundation that would carry him through life’s many seasons.
He was united in marriage to the late Evon Jones. Together, they raised four children: Terry Jones, Myron Denton, Jermaine Jones, and Anthony Jones. …
