William's obituary

Our William David Green passed away this December 14, 2020 from complications of COVID-19. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his brother Tommy, sisters Barbara Jean, Margaret Elaine and Rose; his daughter Lisa; and two grandchildren Pearson and Erica; but is loved deeply by many in extended family. David was known for his all-around kindness and good spirit, generosity, and love of God.

David was born in 1943 in King George County, VA as one of seven children. Facing family hardships, David left school in grade 8 to care for his family and siblings. He had many jobs but went on to become a skilled plumber and married his first wife, who gave birth to his only child. David divorced and remarried some years later to second wife, whom he is survived by. David was a devout Christian and loved everything about being at church. He did his best to always be kind, loving, and understanding. David loved to sing and play his guitar, and could often be heard playing Elvis Presley, his favorite. David also loved a good buffet; if there is a soft serve machine or dessert table in Heaven, you can bet he will be standing by it.
He was preceded in death by his parents Billy and Monnie Green, brother Ezra, sister Ann, and granddaughter Bianca.
