I was lucky enough to work with Bill on a team that met periodically around the country. He was a great guy and I always enjoyed seeing him. Two of his favorite things were trains and photography. So sorry that he's no longer with us.

I worked with Bill for many years at the IRS. He was a great guy. Never had a bad word to say about anyone. I really liked him. RIP Bill.

I hope the Continelli family will find peace in this difficult time sooner rather than later. Know that he left a legacy in the ham radio world few can manage. He was always making the world better through radio.
I had hoped to have a ham radio contact with him while passing through Raleigh a couple of years back but his dialysis was around the same time.
I enjoyed his stories on "This Week in Amateur Radio" and his recounting of his time in Lower Manhattan on 9/11 I've shared time and again. He stressed the importance of having a radio bag and I've had one I've used when the need arose thanks to his experiences. I also enjoyed his railroad adventures. Several were shared on the podcast as well. We have many of his recordings on the Internet Archive which will be available indefinitely.
He will be missed! 73 Bill!
