William Clement Wilkinson, 74, of Orland Park, IL entered God’s kingdom on October 10th, 2023 in Tucson, AZ, which was his happy place. He was on born August 17, 1949 to parents Charles & Elizabeth Wilkinson.

William was the most loving and devoted fiancé to Angelika Dado and is survived by Laura, Joseph, Danielle & Emily Dado as well as lifelong friends Gene Chao, Dorothy Chao and Lonn Wolf.

William was a devoted man to his country, serving as a Captain in the army in the late 1970’s at Natick Research & Development Command in Massachusetts where he met his lifelong friend Gene Chao.

He was an avid runner, including frequently competing in marathons. He was very active in several charities and he believed in always giving back.

William was admired and respected by his colleagues, students and family. During his career, he served as a Professor at Governor State University, in the Division of Management/ Marketing/Public Administration. He also served as the Interim Division Chair there. Additionally, William taught for several years as part of the Business department at North Carolina A&T University. Bill earned M.S., M.Ph. and Ph.D. degrees from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

William was a man of true integrity whose impact will forever be felt by his family and friends.
