I was so saddened to hear about Bill’s passing. I wanted to reach out and share what a lasting impression he made on our family.

I first met Bill many years ago when I was Kaila’s Brownie troop leader. Even during a difficult time in his life, he showed up fully for his children — bringing all three of them to campouts and events, always patient, always engaged, always present. It was clear even then what a devoted and loving father he was.

Later, Bill was the general contractor for a major remodel on our home, and we feel grateful every day for the care and craftsmanship he put into it. I’m especially thankful that I had the chance to see him almost daily during those nine months. He was smart, warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in the people around him. Working with him was a gift.

Please know that we are holding all of you in our hearts. Bill touched our lives in such a meaningful way, and we will always remember him with deep appreciation and affection.
