I met Bill at the Chinese American Friendship Association about 15 years ago. He was the president of the association. Bill was a great leader of the association. He was generous, kind and friendly. We will miss him deeply!

      Years ago  ( last century, in fact ) when I was only 5 years old, my mom got the guest room ready - and sure enough, someone visited us that night. Early next morning, out of curiosity, I waited outside the door and met my Uncle Bill or Ba She She  ( Uncle #8 ) for the first time! He smiled at me and gave me a gift, which turned out to be my favorite Childhood book - a Junior encyclopedia. 

     Throughout the years, Uncle Bill taught me many lessons about life and work, and together we ran the non-profit AAEDE for years. He was well recognized in the the Chinese American community by being  generous with his time and effort. I know he shall be missed .

From the distance we send our love and deepest condolences for your loss. We will always cherish and remember Mr. Chang for a life well lived, always with a smile welcoming all of us to your home.

I was so sad to hear about Mr. Chang's passing. I loved seeing all of the photos of so many happy memories of a life well-lived. Hugs to Kristine and my sympathies to everyone in the Chang family.
