In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Bill's Joy of Helping Others.

Background

Bill (my dad, our father) was so generous and got incredible joy in helping others in need. So in lieu of flowers, we are taking donations for three different options (read about them below).

Please note if you have a specific option you wish to support:

1. Desert Foothills Lutheran Church Building Fund
DFLC is expanding its church to support its community. Donations can be made on their website: https://www.dflc.org/give

2. Since the war started, our close friends in Zaporizhia, Ukraine (Val, Eugenia, Sophika, and tiny Misha) have been helping families with small children in their neighborhood with food and rent - out of their own pocket. When my father learned how Val and his family were helping others, he wanted to join in! Donations are accepted through this site, Venmo, or Paypal to elenanewton@icloud.com

3. Tender Little Hearts Mini Tales and Equine Mini Therapy where volunteers provide animal therapy for adults and children with disabilities who usually wouldn't be in an environment to receive it. TLH offers comfort, joyfulness, empowerment, self-esteem, unconditional love, and many other therapeutic benefits while interacting with our miniature therapy horses and donkeys. Donations can be made on their website: https://www.tenderlittlehearts.org/
