William Boyd Brooks passed away September 30th, 2020 at his home in Romulus, Michigan. He retired from Chrysler many years ago and spent his remaining years enjoying his family. He was born May 25, 1927 in Tullahoma, Tennessee to Boyd and Florence (Holder) Brooks. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first Wife Betty, and his second Wife Charlotte, as well as his sisters Lena Daniels, Cordy Shelton, Pauline Pendergraff, and Alma Abbamonte. He was also preceded in death by his sons William Boyd Brook Jr., And Byron Brooks, his daughter, Beverly and an infant daughter that died at birth, as well as a grandson, James Robert Brooks.
He is survived by his son, Barry Brooks and his sister Helen Eliel and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins. Willam loved his family and his passing will leave a hole in their hearts that can never be filled. Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be planned for his birthday next year.
